As your league prepares for the season ahead, please take a moment to login to the Little League Data Center and submit your 2021 Charter Application and Insurance Enrollment.

No one knows for certain how the coronavirus will impact the coming Little League season, but for the children and families in your communities it is in everyone’s best interests to charter and be ready to play when the time comes. The 2021 Season Resources, including an assortment of best practices, outline many ways you can create a safe, healthy, rewarding, and - above all - fun experience for the children in your area.

Please continue to watch for more information on virtual fundraising opportunities in the future, and we’d encourage you to review our fundraising guidance to help set your league up for success in the new year.

The T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant Program is another wonderful option. Designed to assist with covering registration fees for families in need, this program is currently accepting applications.

Once chartered, there are an assortment of opportunities that can aid in your league’s preparation and planning. Take some time to review the 2021 Season Prep Checklist; consider the promotions and offerings provided by several Little League sponsors; and explore other grant resources currently available, to name a few.

We understand that there is still plenty of uncertainty facing many leagues regarding 2021. Please keep in mind the following items when submitting your charter application:

• Consider estimating team numbers based on past participation. Changes to team numbers may be made through June 1, 2021.
• Payment of charter fees may be deferred until after team numbers are finalized.
• If your league utilizes insurance coverage through the AIG Insurance Program for Little Leagues, coverage for the 2021 calendar year will not be in place until your league is chartered and has paid insurance premiums in full.
