Southeast Region Champions!
Pioneer Little League
 
Pioneer Little League pulled off a come-from-behind win to beat Warner Robins American Little League 6 - 4 and 11 - 1 to claim the 2014 Georgia Little League Softball Championship.  The State Tournament was hosted by West Point Little League.
 
Pioneer Little League beat McLean, Virginia, in a doubleheader to become the Southeast Regional Little League Champions.
 
The team will now advance to the Little League Softball World Series held in Portland, Oregon, Alpen Rose Stadium, beginning August 7.

Georgia Rookie Softball Champions
Western Little League
 
Western Little League captured Georgia's inaugural Rookie Softball Championship.   The tournament is hosted by the state as an opportunity for 7 and 8 year old players to advance beyond a district tournament.  The State Tournament was hosted by Warner Robins American Little League.
 
Teams compete at a district level, move to one of Georgia's 3 Sectional Tournaments and the winners of the Sectionals play a 2-day tournament for the State Championship.
 
Advancing from the NE Georgia Sectional were Hart County Little League and Toccoa Little League.  Advancing from the South Georgia Sectional were Warner Robins American Little League and Western Little League.

Georgia Rookie Baseball Champions
Warner Robins American Little League
Warner Robins American Little League can count back-to-back Rookie Baseball Champions now.  The league won the Rookie Baseball Championship in 2013, the inaugural year for the Georgia State Tournament.  The State Tournament was hosted by Warner Robins American Little League.
 
Advancing from Sectional play to compete in the State Tournament were:  NW Georgia Champions Peachtree City Little League Blue, NE Georgia Champions Newton County Little League and the South Georgia Champions Warner Robins American Little League.

Georgia 9/10 Year Old Softball Champions
Bartow County Little League
 
Bartow County Little League beat Franklin County Little League 3-1 to claim the 2014 Georgia State Championship.  The State Tournament was hosted by West Point Little League.
 
The team will travel to Clarksville, Tennessee, to participate in the Tournament of State Champions for the 8 states of the Southeast Region.  The team will begin play July 26 when they face the Florida State Champions at 1 pm.

Georgia State 9/10 Year Old Baseball Champions
American Little League
 
American Little League from Columbus Georgia beat Murphey Candler Little League 10-0 to win the 2014 9/10 Year Old Georgia State Championship.   The State Tournament was hosted by American Little League.
 
The team will travel to Greenville, North Carolina, to compete in the Tournament of State Champions for the teams in the Southeast Region.   American will face the Virginia State Champions at July 26 6:15 pm; the Tennessee State Champions July 27 at 12:45 pm; the Alabama State Champions at 10 am on July 28.   The tournament will finish July 30.

Georgia State 10/11 Year Old Baseball Champions
Smyrna Little League
 
Smyrna Little League beat Northern Little League 10-7 to capture the 2014 Georgia State 10/11 Year Old Baseball Championship.   The State Tournament was hosted by Cartersville Little League.
 
The team will travel to Greenville, North Carolina, to compete in the Tournament of State Champions for the teams in the Southeast Region.   Play begins August 1.  
 
Smyrna will face the Alabama Champion at 10 am on August 2.  They will face the West Virginia Champion at 12:45 on August 3.  On August 4 they will face the North Carolina Champion at 6:15.   Semi Finals will be played August 5 and the Championship on August 6 at 11 am.

Georgia State Intermediate Baseball Champions
East Marietta National Little League
 
East Marietta National Little League won the Georgia State Intermediate Baseball Championship with back-to-back wins over Peachtree City American Little League.   East Marietta won the Georgia State Intermediate Championship in 2013, the inaugural year for the division.   The State Tournament was hosted by Peachtree City Little League.
 
The team now advances to the Southeast Region Tournament to be held in Apopka, FL, starting July 18.

Georgia State Junior Baseball Champions
Franklin County Little League
 
Franklin County Little League won with Georgia Junior League Baseball Championship with a win of 11-4 over Harris County Little League.    The State Tournament was hosted by Harris County Little League.
 
The team advances to the Southeast Region Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina, August 1 - 6.

Georgia State Senior Softball Champions
Madison County Little League
Madison County Little League won the Georgia State Senior Softball Championship with a 6-1 win over Northern Little League.  Madison County advances to the Southeast Region Tournament played in Fort Myers, FL, July 26 - 30, 2014.  
 
The Southeast Region Champion will advance to the Senior League Softball World Series in Lower Sussex, Delaware, August 3 - 9.

Martinez Evans Little League won the Georgia Senior League Baseball Championship with a 7-1 win over Hart County Little League.   The tournament was hosted by Martinez Evans Little League.
 
Martinez Evans now advances to the Southeast Regional Baseball Tournament August 2 - 6 in Parrish, Florida.

Georgia State Big League Baseball Champions
West Point Little League
West Point Big League Advances to Regional Championship Game!
West Point Little League won the Georgia State Big League Baseball Championship with a 4-2 win over Habersham County Little League. 
 
West Point advances to the Southeast Region Tournament held in Fort Lauderdale, FL, July 11 - 15.  The Southeast Region Champion will advance to the Big League World Series in Easley, SC, beginning July 23.

The West Point team went 2-1 in Pool play, giving them a spot in the Semi Finals Monday, July 14.  Click here for tournament scores.    The team lost to Florida in the Championship game 15 - 1.

Being selected to umpire in one of Little League's 9 World Series Tournaments is a prestigious appointment.  An umpire must spend many years volunteering in the Little League system and attend multiple clinics.  We congratulate the following umpires from Georgia who have been appointed to World Series or Regional Tournaments.
