Recognize a Dedicated Volunteer or Player

State Awards

FOSER recognizes that there are many volunteers in our local leagues that go above and beyond. These volunteers should be submitted as a candidate for the Region Awards (see below), but they should also be considered for recognition at the State level. Beginning in 2021 FOSER will sponsor three State Awards for the eight states of the Little League Southeast Region. State Award applications are due by May 15th. The awards offered are:

  • Volunteer of the Year: This award recognizes the coach, parent or other volunteer that consistently shows dedication to their league/district by going above and beyond what a typical volunteer may do.

  • Good Sport of the Year: This award will recognize a player that shows good sportsmanship on and off the field and exemplifies the qualities of the Little League program.

  • Umpire of the Year: We could not play baseball or softball without our umpires. This award recognizes the commitment that our volunteer umpires give to the Little League program.

Region Awards

Since 2016 FOSER has sponsored the Southeast Region Awards program by providing the awards and hotel accommodations to the winners. This is a great program that provide the opportunity to recognize the best in the Southeast Region.
