Little League Ambassadors

Winning the Little League World Series is the dream of a lifetime for an 11 or 12 year old boy.   But winning the Championship is just the beginning of a lifetime experience.  

Since winning the World Series Championship in August, the team from Warner Robins has been invited to more prestigious events and places and met more presitigious people than an 11 or 12 year old boy could ever dream possible.   

The following are just a few of the exciting places these boys have been in their "spare" time - while keeping up with their schoolwork!

  • A trip to the White House to visit with the President in his Oval Office
  • They played Whiffle ball on the Governor's front lawn with the 2006 World Series Champions from Columbus Northern.
  • A 3-night, 4-day tour of NASA for the last shuttle launch 
  • All 3 of Georgia's Little League World Series Champions have been honored with an exhibit in the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame - Warner Robins, Columbus Northern and East Marietta Little Leagues.
  • They will be featured on the cover of the local AT & T phone book.
  • They met Smokey the Bear and will be featured in upcoming Fire Safety campaigns.
  • Atlanta Motor Speedway for a Nascar Race
  • Robins Air Force Base and flown in refueling planes
  • Grand Marshalls of the GA National Fair in Perry, Georgia
  • The Atlanta Aquarium
  • 2 trips to Braves games
  • 2 trips to UGA football games
  • GA Tech Football games
  • Falcon Football games
  • In addition to all those appearances, they visited the Children's Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and gave out stuffed Bulldogs to the hospitalized children.  
  • They attended parties hosted by Hard Rock and by ESPN Zone
  • They will be special guests for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Macon
